Useful Information
Allow 2 -4 hours after a meal before coming to class. A cup of tea, piece of fruit or a light snack is fine an hour or two before practicing.
All mats and equipment are provided – just bring yourself!
Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. Leggings or shorts are ideal. Dressing in layers is great as you will warm up and cool down.
For HOT yoga most people prefer to wear slightly less than a regular class (it gets really hot!) and choose stretchy fairly fitted clothing so that when you sweat the fabric can wick it away, keeping you more comfortable.
Please arrive clean for your practice paying particular attention to your feet and avoid heavy perfumes as these can affect your fellow students.
Shoes should be removed before entering either of the studios. There are shoes shelves and hooks to put your belongings in the area outside each studio.
We want you to have as much space in the studio as possible so we ask you to keep clutter to a minimum. You belong in the studio, but your belongings do not. There are lockers for personal items and plenty of storage for the other stuff!
NO MOBILE PHONES to be brought into the studio please… give yourself a tech break!
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the starting time.
Feel free to come in up to 15 minutes early, relax, ask your teacher any questions.
At your first class you will be required to fill out a Student Health Declaration form, disclosing any injuries or other medical conditions. It is important to let the teacher know prior to each class of any medical concerns or injuries, etc that might affect your practice.
If you are pregnant, please contact us to discuss what will be suitable.
All information is treated in confidence. Please feel free to discuss any condition in further detail by calling us prior to attending class.
