Jan grew up with yoga (her mother is a senior BWY yoga teacher!) and has developed her own practice over many years, embracing many different styles of yoga, before going on to train with Yoga Alliance and becoming a yoga instructor herself.
She has a strong interest in yoga philosophy which she likes to incorporate into her sessions. Jan finds the study of yoga philosophy empowering, enabling her to deal with the challenges of life and allowing her to live life with a greater sense of purpose and intention. She believes yoga is beneficial to everyone regardless of ability, facilitating a connection between mind, body and soul, allowing time for stillness, inner reflection and arming us all with valuable tools to take away from our mats and out into our everyday lives.
